The Salon Zukunftskultur is part of the “Imagine Arts & Ideas Initiative”, which was conceived by the Austrian Foreign Ministry to mark the 50th anniversary of international cultural work for Austria. Under the title “Imagine Democratic Regeneration”, the Salon discussed artistic visions and interdisciplinary approaches for the further development of liberal democracy and the democratic design of a new, regenerative culture of life and economy in the age of artificial intelligence.

In this context, Amelie Klein was on a panel, together with Herbert Klumpner, architect and professor of architecture and urban design at ETH Zurich, discussing regenerative design, what we can learn from the global South and other peripheral zones, the importance of democratic fitness, and how design, architecture and art can help to shape active democrats.
